This section is dedicated to my personal teaching philosophy which is hopefully communicated to all the students at some point or another.
To this I raise the question of, what is good art? what is bad art? How did we learn what is 'good' and what is 'bad'?
Therefore, I have started a personal mission to help keep students motivated in the art realm. The first step of this is to stop apologizing for his/her own creation. Although we must agree that there is always room for improvement in our skills. However disregarding our time and effort into an art project is never acceptable.
In momentum of this mission I leave you with this last thought: whatever age you stopped drawing consistently is where you skills have stayed. This is why many adults draw like 3rd graders........
Keep practicing, working hard, improving, and then you will start to have fun.
Happy practicing,
Krieger
